Podľa očakávaní SkyEurope sa na letiskách v Bratislave, Viedni, Košiciach a Prahe zhromaždili tisíce zaľúbencov rôznych vekových kategórií, aby svoju lásku potvrdili bozkom a uchádzali sa o spiatočnú letenku s odletom v sobotu na sviatok sv. Valentína a ľubovoľným dátumom návratu zadarmo bez akýchkoľvek ďalších poplatkov. SkyEurope v sobotu ponúkli v rámci projektu Kiss & Fly všetky zostávajúce voľné sedadlá zaľúbeným párom úplne zadarmo. Spolu 526 zaľúbených párov získalo možnosť užiť si v sobotu spiatočný let bez zaplatenia, namladší zamilovaný pasažier mal 16 a najstarší 87 rokov.
Tomáš Kika, vedúci oddelenia SkyEurope Airlines povedal: “SkyEurope už tradične spája sviatok sv. Valentína s lietaním a láskou. Ľúbime voziť našich pasažierov, a ako dokazuje Kiss & Fly, aj oni ľúbia lietať so SkyEurope,” a dodal: “Len v Prahe už od pol noci čakalo na letisku viac ako 500 ľudí, aby spečatili svoju lásku bozkom a bojovali o posledné zostávajúce miesta v našich lietadlách, pričom stovky ďalších párov prichádzali na letiská vo Viedni, Bratislave a Košiciach počas celej soboty. Najmladším účastníkom Kiss & Fly bola 16 ročná slečna letiaca z Prahy do Paríža so svojim priateľom, zatiaľ čo najvyšší seniorský vek reprezentoval 87 ročný pán letiaci so svojou manželkou do Londýna.”
SkyEurope spustili ambiciózny projekt Kiss & Fly vo štvrtok 12. februára 2009 a len za dva dni trvania projektu sa počet zostávajúcich voľných miest rapídne znížil. SkyEurope zaplnili takmer všetky zostávajúce voľné miesta vo svojich lietadlách zamilovanými pármi, ktorým ponúkli rovnako zadarmo aj spiatočnú letenku. Paríž, Londýn, Miláno, Rím, Amsterdam, Barcelóna ale aj Neapol patrili medzi zaľúbencami najžiadanejšie destinácie.
„Projekt Kiss & Fly dal zaľúbeným párom krídla. Sme radi, že i v ekonomicky náročných podmienkach, ktoré sú neľahké i pre samotný letecký priemysel, ľudia stále milujú lietať a aj vďaka SkyEurope lietať i naďalej môžu nezávisle od veku či finančných možností,” zhrnul Tomáš Kika a dodal: „Nebolo žiaľ možné uspokojiť všetky zaľúbené páry, keďže dopyt niekoľkonásobne prevyšoval počet voľných miest v našich lietadlách. Len z Prahy sme v sobotu v rámci Kiss & Fly odviezli 260 zaľúbených párov. Projekt splnil i pripomínaciu funkciu, kedže mnohé páry nenechali svoj sobotný let na náhodu a letenky na sv. Valentína rezervovali ešte vo štvrtok a piatok, hoci takto za ne museli zaplatiť.”
KISS & FLY nie je prvá unikátna akcia SkyEurope, ktoré sú držiteľmi hneď niekoľkých svetových rekordov. Minuloročný svetový rekord v počte bozkov v oblakoch bol oficiálne zapísaný dokonca i do knihy svetových rekordov s celkovým počtom 2213 bozkov na palubách lietadiel spoločnosti SkyEurope Airlines. Ešte pred tým, 17. februára 2007, počas dodávacieho letu desiateho lietadla spoločnosti, SkyEurope vytvorili svetový rekord vo vzdialenosti preletenej Boeingom 737-700 NG v komerčnej konfigurácii po zvládnutí 9.101 kilometrov medzi americkým Seattlom a Slovenskou Bratislavou za 10 hodín a 27 minút.
