Doprava na letisko vo Viedni
Pokiaľ cestujete do Viedne zo Slovenska, môžete využiť vlakové spojenie z Bratislavy, letecky z Košíc. Z Viedne priamo na letisko chodia vo veľmi častých intervaloch autobusy. Rovnako na každom rohu narazíte na biele taxíky ktoré rovnako za prijateľné ceny chodia z centra Viedne alebo autobusovej či vlakovej stacice priamo na letisko.
Zvyčajne sa nemusíte obávať, že nenájdete v blízskosti taxík. Tak ako u väčšiny hotels in blackpool, Berline alebo hotelov v Bostone, taxík nájdete priamo pri hotely alebo v jeho blízskosti.
Môj názor
Letisko vo Viedni pri mojich cestách využívam bezkonkurenčne najčastejšie. Mám k tomu pár dôvodov. Väčina destinácií do ktorých som letel mali odlet len z Viedne alebo prahy a Viedeň mám predsa bližie. Ceny sú veľm i dobré, kvalita letiska výborná. Máte sa kde osviežiť, najesť sa, odložiť veci a hlavne je k dispozícii veľmi slušný výber freeduty obchodov. Ešte nemalou výhodou je výborná dostupnosť letiska z mesta.
Zaujímavosti ktoré nájdete vo Viedni
Viedeň, hlavné mesto Rakúska na brehoch Dunaja, sa nachádza len na skok od Bratislavy. Možno viete, že sa označuje za európske hlavné mesto kultúry. V rámci Rakúska je i hlavným mestom turizmu, keďže i napriek konkurencii populárnych cieľov návštevníkov v Tirolských Alpách si v tomto smere drží miestne prvenstvo. Miestne medzinárodné letisko odbavuje veľké množstvo medzinárodných liniek.
Takže hlavné mesto kultúry. Tento titul si Viedeň zaslúži, veď ponúka toľké množstvo pozoruhodných kultúrnych atrakcií, že je skoro nemožné vybrať si z nich. Koná sa tu viacero veľkých i menších filmových festivalov, taktiež festivalov tanečných. Je tu množstvo divadelných sál i operných s rozmanitými druhmi predstavení, vyhlásenými operetami i operami. Mesto je i častým dejiskom veľkých koncertných podujatí.
V rámci umenia sa pýši históriou, ktorej sa môže rovnať máloktoré iné mesto. Vo Viedni sídlili takí hudobníci ako Johan Strauss, Beethoven, Mozart či Schubert. Mesto je plné i ďalších veľmi cenných pozostatkov slávnej umeleckej minulosti. Známe miestne múzeum ukrýva umelecké diela obrovskej hodnoty. A umenie nájdete takmer na každom kroku, len sa obzrite okolo seba.
Neopakovateľnú romanticko-kultúrnu stránku Viedne dotvárajú tunajšie miestne kaviarne a vinárne.
Rodiny smerujúce za zábavou by nemali vynechať Práter, miesto zábavy a oddychu neďaleko centra. Nájdete tu zábavný park, parky a chodníky vhodné na športovanie či prechádzky i športové štadióny. Z veľkého, legendárneho kolesa Riesenrad v zábavnom parku sa naskytá krásny výhľad na mesto. Toto koleso bolo dokonca súčasťou niekoľkých hraných filmov.
Jednou z najvýznamnejších kultúrnych pamiatok Viedne je palác Schönbrunn. Táto uchvacujúca stavba v barokovom štýle, pri ktorej leží veľký park, bývala kedysi letným sídlom rodu Habsburgovcov. Tu sa narodil cisár František Jozef a tu žil istý čas i so svojou Sissi. Mária Terézia tu rada počúvala skladby, ktoré pre ňu zložil malý Mozart. V jednom zo zákutí záhrad bývajú predstavenia bábkového divadla. Celý komplex paláca vrátane prekrásnych záhrad je na zozname svetového kultúrneho dedičstva UNESCO.
Schönbrunnská zoologická záhrada je najstaršou zoologickou záhradou sveta. Ako jediná si zachovala barokový štýl, o ktorý sa tu dôsledne starajú. Medzi obyvateľmi zoo nájdete veľmi vzácny pár veľkých čínskych pánd, ktoré sa dočkali i potomstva, čo je u tohto druhu obrovský úspech. Súčasťou tejto zoo je i špeciálna botanická záhrada nazývaná Tropická Viedeň, kde nájdete mnohé rastliny tropických oblastí a dokonca i simulované tropické počasie.
Španielska jazdecká škola Wiener Hofreitschule je najstaršou a zároveň poslednou jazdeckou školou na svete, s prísnymi pravidlami pre klasickú drezúru, aké sa uplatňovali v dávnych dobách. „Španielska“ v názve je tu preto, lebo tu chované kone mali pôvod v Španielsku. Lístky na predstavenia školy nie sú najlacnejšie, no ten zážitok za to vari stojí.
Ktorú z pozoruhodností centra Viedne by ste určite nemali vynechať? Istotne Dóm Sv. Štefana na rovnomennom námestí, ktorý je symbolom centra mesta asi tak, ako je Dóm Sv. Alžbety symbolom centra Košíc. Je to ohromne vysoká stavba v gotickom štýle, ktorá bola kedysi najvyššou budovou v Európe. S touto stavbou súvisí viacero povestí; jedna z nich hovorí o tom, že tu Madona služobníc zachránila nevinné dievča pred chytením a odsúdením za krádež.
Počuli ste o budove štátnej opery? Úchvatná renesančná Staatsoper vo Viedni sa považuje za jednu z troch najvýznamnejších budov opery na svete. Operné predstavenia sa na tomto mieste konajú už od 17. storočia. Hovorí sa, že noc strávená v/pri tejto opere je pre návštevníkov mesta tým najpamätnejším zo všetkých zážitkov. Sídli tu tiež svetoznámy Viedenský filharmonický orchester.
Čo takto vyskúšať si najlepší možný výhľad na Viedeň? Zájdite si k Dunaju, nájdete tam vyhliadkovú vežu siahajúcu do výšky až 352 metrov. Domáci jej vďaka jej tvaru a výške dali meno „Betónová ihla“. Na vrchole môžete okrem kochania sa pohľadom navštíviť v otáčajúcej sa hornej časti reštauráciu či kaviareň.
Ó, on tu ešte nebol spomenutý Hofburg, cisársky palác! Kedysi to bol stredoveký zámok, ktorý bol neskôr prestavaný a slúžil po dlhé obdobia ako honosné sídlo Habsburgovcov. Je to takpovediac múzeum štýlov architektúry, keďže tu nájdete snáď všetky, od gotiky až po nedávnu dobu. Dnes tu sídlia inštitúcie národnej knižnice a cisárskej pokladnice, múzeum etnografie i spomínaná španielska jazdecká škola. Blízko budovy sa nachádza impozantné Námestie hrdinov.
