Sezónne lietajú a odlietajú z Brna aj Bulgarian Air Charter, Karthago Airlines, Montenegro Airlines, Nouvelair a Tunis Air. Jedná sa však o nepomerne menej frekventované letisko s porovnaní s Pražským.
Subjektívny názor:
Po pravde letieť z Brna pre slovákov je celkom pohodlné, aj keď si je nutné uvedomiť, že sa poriadne nemáte kde dostať. Tých pár spoločností čo z Brna lieta nemajú veľmi široký výber cieľových destinácií.
Čo môžete vidieť v Brne?
Brno je po Prahe druhé najväčšie mesto Českej Republiky a hlavné mesto Moravy. Mesto zažilo bohatú históriu; o svojho vzniku prešla vládou Přemyslovcou, obdobím husitov i tridsaťročnou vojnou. Od 18. storočia sa stalo dôležitým priemyselným strediskom, ktorým je dodnes. Vďaka lepšie využívanej možnosti leteckého spojenia nadobudlo i väčší turistický význam.
Mesto má vlastnú zoologickú záhradu, v ktorej chová až 785 druhov zvierat, čo ju robí najväčšou v republike. Medzi nimi nájdete i najviac ohrozené druhy v Čechách i niektoré z exotických ohrozených zvierat sveta. Hladní návštevníci zavítajú do tunajšej reštaurácie U tigra.
Osobitou atrakciou mesta, spojenou so ZOO, je Dinopark. Je to rozľahlý park (4 ha) s verne vyzerajúcimi modelmi pravekých jašterov, ktorí dokonca vydávajú zvuky. Návštevníci parku si môžu pozrieť i niečo z ponuky pridruženého 3D kina.
Zaujímavou rázovitou atrakciou je neďaleko mesta bývalá Brnenská priehrada, ktorá bola pred časom vypustená. Domáci i turisti sa sem chodia poprechádzať po vysušenom dne na pozostatky dediny, ktorá tu kedysi stála.
Jednou z budov hodných pozretia je, popri historických budovách starej časti mesta, vila Tugendhat, ktorá výrazne ovplyvnila štandardy pre moderné bývanie. Pre jej skutočnú unikátnosť bola zaradená do svetového dedičstva UNESCO.
Neďaleko mesta sa tiež nachádza pekný, zachovalý barokový zámok Slavkov s veľkým historickým významom, prekračujúcim hranice Moravy. V jeho priestoroch i okolí sa počas roka konajú rôzne zaujímavé akcie. Pre návštevníkov je otvorené i tajuplné podzemie zámku.
Na severovýchod od Brna začína chránená oblasť Moravský kras, a celé mesto obklopujú zachovalé lesy – ideálne miesta na výlety do prírody.
